Singing on the Wild Side
Two holidays in 2020:
Singing on the Wild Side is about the singing, but much more too. Over the week, our own little community will build, seed new friendships, connect to local people, explore the natural vibrant beauty surrounding us. So if you like singing, wilderness, a sense of adventure, meeting other interesting folk and returning home feeling refreshed, invigorated and in tune, then join us here. All welcome – we learn songs by ear.

“Hugely useful week. I now know WHAT I need to prepare. Good balance between input from Candy and our own experienced learning. INTENSIVE- there is a lot- but that’s what we’ve come for. We’ve worked hard but it has been so worth it. Peer learning as well as Candy’s wealth of experience.”
Abigail competed this training in May 2019, and is now running her own choir in Cork
Continuing Professional Development for Choir leaders
|27th- 31st of August 2020 |
We are launching a new course in 2020: this is for choir leaders who have started their choirs, been working for a year, or even for many years, and need some new input and ongoing training. It will be a small group and there’ll be plenty of time for individual questions and personalised input. I am particularly excited to be co-leading this workshop with Sophie Grimmer. Sophie has had a successful career as an opera singer and voice coach. She will be offering one to one voice work, as well as group facilitation. Candy will be working more on the choir development side: musicality and community building.
Further info to come. Please email Candy if you are interested in this course.
