Calling all Irish Speaking Story tellers wishing to develop their craft. This is a Workshop/ Masterclass designed especially for you. Seasoned Irish Speaking Story tellers Seanán and Bríd Anna have designed this innovative and unique online immersive experience so you can hone in and develop the art of your own unique story teller. You will also have the opportunity to share the fruits of your learning and stand shoulder to shoulder with Seanán & Bríd Anna, at a later online event called Oíche Scéalaíochta i dTír Chonaill/A Night of Storytelling in Donegal, in front of a live online audience on November 21st.

Bríd Anna Ní Bhaoill
Bríd Anna Ní Bhaoill, scéalaí traidisiúnta as Rann na Feirste i nGaeltacht Iarthuaisceart Thír Chonaill agus Seanán Mac Aoidh, scéalaí a chuir taighde dochtúireachta ar scéalaíocht na Gaeilge i dTír Chonaill i gcrích le gairid, an bheirt a bheas ag stiúradh na ceardlainne seo sa scéalaíocht. Tabharfar aird ar leith ar scéalta móra an traidisiúin agus ar réim teanga, cur chuige, stíl agus idirghníomhaíocht leis na rannpháirtithe. Fóirfidh an cúrsa seo go maith dóibh siúd a bhfuil neart Gaeilge acu agus a bhfuil suim acu sa scéalaíocht agus i scéalta a inse.
Bríd Anna Ní Bhaoill, a traditional Irish storyteller from Rann na Feirste in the Gaeltacht of north-west Donegal and Seanán Mac Aoidh, a storyteller who recently completed a PhD research thesis in Donegal storytelling, will give an intensive workshop in Irish language storytelling, involving an exploration of repertoire, language, technique, style and interactivity with participants. This course will suit those with a good level of Irish and an interest in Irish language storytelling and particular in telling stories themselves..
Seanán Mac Aoidh
Seanán Mac Aoidh is manager and programme director of An tSean Bheairic cultural centre in An Fál Carrach (Falcarragh). Seanán was formerly an Irish language teacher and researcher in Ulster University in Belfast and has recently completed his PhD research project in the Donegal Irish language storytelling tradition. Seanán often tells traditional stories at local events and during this weekend will share some insights into the cultural background of sean-nós and the stories that underlie the tradition.
